Basic Search Help Page

  The Basic Search page allows for simple searches. The same data items are returned within the search results for each search (Owner Name, Co-Owner, Property Address, Land Data, Parcel Number and a link for displaying the Property Record Card (PRC) for each record displayed). There are six different Basic Searches offered (Property Owner Name, Parcel Number, Property Address, and Map#). Further description of each search is provided below.

Property Owner Name Search
  No Required Fields.
  Enter owner name, using last name first then first name, separated by a space.
  DO NOT use commas to separate last name and first name.
  The results are returned sorted by Owner Name.

Parcel Number Search
  No Required Fields.
  Enter a whole parcel number, if known, to retrieve that parcel
   or enter the beginning of a parcel number to retrieve a group of parcels.
  Select either Owner Name or Parcel Number to sort the results.
  The default sorting of the results is by Owner Name.

Property Address Search
  No Required Fields.
  Can enter a combination of House Number, Street Name and Street Type
   or just Street Name and Street Type.
  With Street Name, DO NOT enter RD or ST, as these are street types
   and should be selected from the dropdown list for Street Type.
  The Street Name Matching Type will aid in finding either an 'Exact' match
   or parcels where the street name 'Begins With' the street name entered
   or parcels where the street name 'Contains' the street name entered.
  The results are returned sorted by Owner Name.

Map# Search
  Can enter all or the beginning part of the map number.
  The full map number includes dashes and a period.
  The results are returned sorted by Owner Name.
